Product Lead: Immersive Learning (AR/VR) – Volunteer Full Time NEW

What difference will you make?

This role will help the organisation develop innovative AR and VR learning experiences that make wellbeing education more engaging and interactive for children. By leading the development of the Kids Yoga AR Toolbox and the VR Art Sanctuary, the volunteer will support the creation of scalable digital tools that schools can easily adopt. This also strengthens partnerships with educators, expands the organisation’s reach in the education sector, and helps deliver accessible mental health and wellbeing programs to more students globally.

What are we looking for?

Essential Skills

• Experience in Product Management, EdTech, AR/VR, or immersive media.
• Ability to translate complex technology into simple, user‑friendly learning experiences.
• Basic understanding of instructional design or digital learning tools.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills to manage development milestones.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including developers, designers, and educators.
• Good communication and documentation skills for planning product features and workflows.

Desirable (But Not Required)

• Familiarity with Augmented Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR) platforms.
• Experience working with education technology products or digital learning environments.
• Knowledge of spatial computing, Unity, WebAR, or immersive content development.
• Experience supporting pilot programs or product launches in schools or educational organisations.
• Understanding of B2B education partnerships or teacher training programs.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the Immersive Learning Pod Coordinate and guide a team including an AR/VR Full Stack Developer and Service Designer to develop immersive wellbeing learning tools.
• Define Product Strategy Design the experience strategy for the Kids Yoga AR Toolbox and the VR Art Sanctuary, ensuring the products align with educational and wellbeing goals.
• Develop AR Interaction Concepts Create and define “Bring to Life” triggers that connect physical yoga books with Augmented Reality experiences.
• Collaborate with Educators Work closely with teachers and education specialists to ensure the AR tools are practical, engaging, and suitable for classroom learning environments.
• Oversee Product Development Support the design, testing, and refinement of AR/VR features to ensure the experiences are intuitive and impactful for students and educators.
• Support Go‑to‑Market (GTM) Preparation Help structure the B2B offering for schools, including the Teacher Training program, AR Toolbox, and supporting app.
• Coordinate Pilot Program Launch Assist in preparing and managing the launch of pilot programs with partner schools within the targeted development timeline.
• Ensure System Integration Work with the technical team to ensure the AR/VR tools integrate smoothly with live community sessions on Swarm.to.
• Monitor Progress and Milestones Track development progress and help ensure the team meets the planned 90‑day pilot launch timeline.
