Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems (training provided if necessary).
• Handle materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring accurate movement throughout the facility.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Support stock management activities including inventory checks, stock replenishment, and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is preferred but not essential.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with assembly processes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical fitness to handle manual tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Basic numeracy skills for inventory management and documentation purposes. Pay: £27,580.00-£32,640.00 per year
