Test Analyst Full Time NEW

Join the growing Deloitte Managed Solutions team within IT Solutions working with a variety of clients to provide for their workflow and technology needs.

The technology solutions that Deloitte can provide to clients are varied and can be integrated with our robotics and consulting teams. You will work within the Delivery team led by a Project Manager, with Business Analysts, Developers and Solution Architects and a Test Manager to develop and document the appropriate Test Approach, Strategy and Plan to ensure that the solution is tested effectively. Our solutions will provide efficient user interfaces, automated workflow processing, and data integration services between our systems and others, with your team Testing them.

You will engage with many distinct groups of internal stakeholders of various levels and support their work with clients.

The Role

• Liaising directly with management day-to-day and escalating defects
• Supporting the design of the test strategy and approach on a project
• Implementing the test plan to the test schedule
• Producing test exit reports
• Creating test scripts
• Completing all types of IT testing including functional, performance, regression, supporting clients with UAT and system integration testing
• Completing analysis where required on failures and logging all defects

Must have a demonstrable track record in:

• · Working in a project team environment · Ensuring regular and effective communication · Functional System and Integration Testing experience · Test Preparation · Test Execution · Capturing Test Evidence · Defect logging / reporting · Written and verbal communication skills for defect reporting and reporting test progress · Experience in Manual Testing · Testing of software products · Test Analysis – being able to produce low level test scripts and gain understanding of the system · Experience working with Business SME’s, Architects & Dev team · Experience working with agile/waterfall/PRINCE2 methodologies · Experience in use of TFS

Optional but preferable:

• Performance Test experience (Python would be a bonus)
• Automated testing experience
