The OpportunityWe are seeking a motivated and commercially driven Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist / Senior Sales Specialist to join our growing Dermatology division in the UK.This is a field-based role covering the north of the UK (staring at Birmingham) offering a high degree of autonomy, where you will take ownership of your territory and contribute directly to the successful positioning of our prescription products. You will work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access, acting as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals.If you are looking for a role that combines scientific engagement with commercial impact, and allows you to operate beyond the rigid structures of large pharma environments, this is your opportunity to grow and make a difference. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, build, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including Dermatologists, GPs with an interest in dermatology, Specialist Nurses and PharmacistsEffectively present and promote Biofrontera’s dermatology portfolio, clearly communicating clinical benefits and product differentiationImplement and execute regional sales and marketing strategies within your territoryIdentify and proactively pursue new business opportunities through structured market analysis and targeted outreachDrive territory growth by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new customersDeliver compliant, high-quality product information in line with the company’s compliance policies and internal SOPsOrganise and participate in congresses, symposia, and educational eventsCollaborate closely with Medical Affairs to ensure accurate and impactful scientific communicationManage territory planning, reporting, and CRM documentation effectivelyProvide structured feedback from the field to support continuous improvement of commercial strategies Qualifications, Knowledge & ExperienceEducationDegree in life sciences, pharmacy, business, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)ABPI qualification (or willingness to obtain)ExperienceProven experience in B2B sales, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectorExperience in dermatology or oncology is advantageousDemonstrated ability to build customer relationships and deliver commercial results Skills & CompetenciesStrong commercial mindset combined with scientific understandingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with healthcare professionalsHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectivelySelf-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong sense of ownershipAbility to analyse market dynamics and translate insights into actionable sales strategiesConfident and professional presentation skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with a solution-oriented approachWillingness to travel within the UK when necessaryFull UK driving licenceFluent English Your ImpactThis role is ideal for ambitious professionals who want to make a tangible impact in the pharmaceutical industry.
