Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for an Event Operations Manager (travel required). The role involves planning and executing event logistics, managing operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and overseeing event setup and breakdown. The Event Operations Manager will also work closely with the team to ensure smooth event execution and attendee satisfaction. The dates of availability must include:

• May 8-9, East London
• May 15-16, Oxford
• June 12-13, Hertford
• June 26-27, Harpenden
• July 17-18, West London

Qualifications

• Expertise in Operations Management
• Strong skills in Event Planning and Customer Service to coordinate event logistics and ensure a top-notch player experience
• Effective Communication abilities to work with others
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with large-scale sports or entertainment events is a plus
• Willingness to travel and work weekends during 5 events

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Logistics

• Assist with planning of LIT7s events
• Manage event timelines, schedules, and operational plans
• Coordinate venues, suppliers, and equipment logistics

On-the-Day Delivery

• Oversee event setup, delivery, and breakdown
• Act as the main point of contact for all operational matters
• Troubleshoot issues in real-time and ensure smooth execution

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate event staff, volunteers, and external partners
• Work closely with media, marketing, and commercial teams
• Build strong relationships with venues, teams, and suppliers

Process & Optimisation

• Develop and improve operational systems and workflows
• Ensure events are scalable as the series grows
• Maintain high standards across all touchpoints
