Role Description

We are seeking a full-time BMS/SCADA Engineer to join our team at a UK-based company. This is an on-site role based in the City of Cape Town. The Engineer will be responsible for configuring and maintaining SCADA systems, developing and managing human-machine interfaces, troubleshooting electrical systems, and working on the operational aspects of power systems. The role includes collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution and providing technical support during installation and commissioning stages.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SCADA systems and Human Machine Interface (HMI) development
• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Power Systems
• Demonstrated skills in Troubleshooting and problem-solving in relation to control and electrical systems
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams and adapt to on-site requirements
• Relevant certifications or training in BMS or SCADA systems will be an advantage
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in engineering projects
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
• Prior experience in BMS, SCADA, or controls engineering is preferred
