We are expanding our AARTS team and are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager who will play a key role in supporting audit and tax reporting engagements, building strong client relationships, and developing the next generation of tax professionals.

🔍 About the Role

As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will:

• Act as the day‑to‑day contact for audit and tax reporting engagements, liaising with audit teams, clients and tax managers.
• Review, test and document technical tax disclosures prepared by clients and advisers.
• Delegate work to junior colleagues while maintaining quality and timelines.
• Build strong, trusted relationships across a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Collaborate with internal audit teams and other departments.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Keep the team updated with relevant technical tax insights.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, communication skills and leadership potential. Ideally, you will have:

• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax; international tax exposure is a plus.
• Solid understanding of accountancy principles, especially accounting for tax (including deferred tax).
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• A proactive, accountable and solutions‑focused mindset.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and evaluate key issues.
