🍊Our mission We’re powering biology’s century with radically faster, more reliable clinical trials. Every new treatment needs clinical trials to prove safety and efficacy, but today’s infrastructure is stuck in the past- driving up cost, causing delays and ultimately meaning new treatments don’t get to patients. We’re fundamentally changing that- not just being a “better CRO,” but transforming how people think about developing new treatments, so patients can access breakthrough treatments faster. Our impact speaks for itself: Since March 2021, we’ve powered 100+ clinical trials involving tens of thousands of patients. We recently raised a $55M Series B from Balderton Capital, alongside backing from Creandum, Firstminute, Seedcamp, and Visionaries.🍊What’s it like to work here? When you join us, you’ll experience:High-Impact, Mission-Driven Work: Lindus Health is disrupting an outdated industry, giving you the chance to directly improve patients’ lives and see tangible results from your work. Fast-Paced Growth & Ownership: We recognise hard work and outcomes over anything else. You’ll take on real responsibility, work across different areas, and actively shape the company’s success. Collaborative, No-Ego Culture: Work with smart, driven people in a supportive and informal environment. At Lindus we break down silos, fun is a core value, and creativity is encouraged. Ready to power biology’s century? We’d love to hear from you.🍊 About the roleWe’re looking for an AI Tools Builder to help transform how our Clinical Operations teams work. Sitting within Programme Operations and partnering closely with ClinOps, Product, and Engineering, your mission is to identify where manual processes are slowing things down and build the tools, systems, and workflows that make our teams dramatically more effective. That might be a financial tracking tool, a site activation dashboard, a patient recruitment forecasting model, or something we haven’t thought of yet. You’ll use AI-assisted development to design and build lightweight internal products that automate these processes. You won’t be writing production code for Citrus – you’ll be solving real operational problems with whatever gets the job done. We’re not looking for a traditional engineer or product manager. We want someone highly curious, analytical, and resourceful who enjoys learning new technical tools and solving real operational problems.🍊 What you’ll focus onOperational Workflow Improvement – Work closely with Clinical Operations teams to understand how trials are run and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual processes. Internal Tooling & Automation – Design and build internal tools that improve workflows – for example systems that help manage trial resourcing, operational tracking, invoicing, or site management. Product Thinking for Internal Systems – Take a product-like approach to internal tools: gathering requirements, building prototypes, shipping solutions quickly, and continuously improving them based on feedback. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Clinical Operations, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure internal systems integrate well with the broader technology ecosystem. Continuous Improvement – Iterate quickly: shipping improvements, testing new approaches, and identifying opportunities to make Lindus teams faster and more effective. 🍊 About youYou don’t need a computer science or engineering background but we are looking for someone who builds things.1-3 years of experience in an ops, product, or tooling-adjacent role in a fast growth startup or scaleup (a company 10-300 employees that has raised VC funding)Comfortable using AI tools to build – you’ve shipped something real, even if informallyStrong with data: spreadsheets, data flows, APIs, automation logicEnjoy building things from scratch, whether that’s a process, tool, workflow, or small internal productA highly analytical and curious problem-solver who enjoys figuring out how complex systems work and how to improve themBias to action – you’d rather ship something imperfect and iterate than wait for the perfect specCurious about how clinical trials work (you’ll learn fast, we’ll help)Excited about working in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities evolve quickly🍊 What we offer (UK)We believe in rewarding the people who are building the future of clinical research.Financial & GrowthCompetitive salary plus meaningful equity – you’ll own a piece of what we’re buildingÂŁ1,000 annual Learning & Development budget for courses, certifications, and conferences39 days annual leave (30 days PTO + 8 bank holidays + 1 James Lind Day)Health & WellbeingÂŁ60 monthly wellness allowance with flexibility on how to spend this, including opting in to a company private health insurance or Wellhub membershipAccess to gym and retail discounts through HapplCulture & ConnectionMonthly lunch vouchers for remote team membersRegular company events and team gatherings (both virtual and in-person)Charity partnerships and volunteering opportunities with Forward TrustWork with a team that’s genuinely changing healthcare for the better🍊 Our Hiring ProcessWe believe hiring should be transparent, respectful of your time, and give you a real feel for what Lindus Health is like.
