About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Account Executive to support and grow our retail sales channel across key UK customers. This is a highly visible role working with some of the UK’s leading retailers, where you will play a key part in managing day-to-day account operations, supporting strategic growth plans and ensuring best-in-class execution across all customer touchpoints. You will combine account management, sales administration and customer relationship development, helping to deliver Business Plans and drive profitable revenue growth across the channel.
Key Responsibilities
Support the setup and development of new and existing retail accounts across the UK
Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders including buyers, category managers, business managers and owners
Support the creation and delivery of Business Plans to drive revenue growth, distribution and profitability
Identify new business opportunities within the retail and wholesale channel
Sales Execution & Commercial Delivery
Deliver best-in-class execution of centrally agreed campaigns, promotions and activations across key customers
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive performance across the product portfolio
Present in customer meetings to support sales growth and brand visibility
Order Management & Administration
Manage end-to-end order processing including order placement, tracking and issue resolution
Set up and maintain customer accounts, product listings and online assets
Handle all account administration including pricing, promotions and product data accuracy
Act as a key point of contact for customer queries and communication
Analysis & Reporting
Analyse sales-in and sales-out data to identify trends, gaps in range and growth opportunities
Support forecasting, reporting and performance tracking against targets
Use insights to make fact-based recommendations to customers

Skills & Experience
Proven ability to deliver against sales or commercial objectives
Experience in B2b retail sales an advantage but not essential
Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Commercially aware with strong numerical and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive and customer-focused mindset
Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
Ability to adapt selling style based on customer needs
Resilient, persistent and solutions-oriented
Ethical and professional in all business interactions
Comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint on a daily basis
Knowledge of consumer brands and retail landscape
Experience working with major UK retailers
Existing network within retail or wholesale channels
