Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Glasgow for a Civil CAD Technician at Advance Grid Solutions Ltd. The role involves preparing and modifying technical drawings, evaluating infrastructure design plans, and supporting engineers with accurate and detailed CAD models. You will coordinate with project teams to ensure designs meet the required technical criteria and contribute to project design and delivery by utilizing specialized software for precise drafting. Preparing documentation, maintaining CAD standards, and collaborating with other departments will also be essential responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in providing Technical Support, Computer Maintenance, and Operating Systems applications
• Strong ability in Troubleshooting and Computer Repair
• Proficient in using CAD tools and software such as AutoCAD to create designs and technical drawings
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with civil engineering and infrastructure project standards is advantageous
• Ability to work on-site and contribute to collaborative team environments
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, CAD Design, or a related discipline preferred
