Lady of the Grapes London Bridge is looking for a full-time or part-time Food Runner to join our new team.

About Us

Lady of the Grapes is opening a new restaurant near Borough Market in June 2026. As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking a motivated and attentive Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team.

The first Lady of the Grapes, a wine bar and restaurant in Covent Garden, was founded in 2018 by Carole Bryon, owner, sommelier, and occasional chef. Our new branch at Borough Market will feature a 70-seat restaurant and a separate 50-seat wine bar.

Lady of the Grapes is a French, ingredient-led restaurant that showcases classic techniques and seasonal produce, with an open kitchen featuring a live barbecue. All our wines are organic, biodynamic, or natural, made exclusively by female winemakers, with an extensive and carefully curated wine list.

Overview
This role involves delivering exceptional service by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up tables and clearing plates to support smooth service flow.
• Fold napkins
• Polish cutlery
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate orders delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service stations and dining areas throughout shifts.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing dishes or assisting with basic meal assembly.
• Support bar in cleaning glasses
• Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items.
• Collect empty plate and glasses from the table. Ensure about customers satisfation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Organised with good multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to guest service.

Pay: £12.21-£17.70 per hour
