1. Project Manager – Unit4 ERP (Agresso)

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end delivery of Unit4 ERP (ERPx / Business World / Agresso) implementation, upgrade, or AMS engagements. Own scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and client outcomes across Financials, Procurement, HCM, Projects, and FP&A workstreams.

Experience

• 10+ years total IT experience
• 5+ years managing ERP programs (Unit4/Agresso preferred; SAP, Oracle, or Workday acceptable with Unit4 exposure)
• 2+ full-cycle Unit4 implementations or major upgrades (on-prem to ERPx cloud migration is a strong plus)

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery P&L: scope, schedule, effort, margin, and revenue recognition
• Drive program governance — steering committees, status reporting (RAG), risk & issue management
• Manage cross-functional teams: functional consultants, technical/VITA developers, integration, testing, change management
• Lead client stakeholder engagement up to CIO/CFO level
• Oversee implementation phases: Discovery → Design → Build → Test → UAT → Cutover → Hypercare
• Ensure adherence to Unit4 Activate methodology (or equivalent SDLC)
• Manage vendor and partner ecosystem (Unit4 product team, integration partners)
• Track KPIs: SLA adherence, CSAT, defect leakage, schedule variance, cost variance, gross margin
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support presales for change requests

Must-Have Skills

• Unit4 ERP modules: Financials, Procurement, HCM, Projects, FP&A
• VITA architecture awareness; understanding of Information Browser, Accelerator, Agresso Web Services / U4 APIs
• ERPx cloud migration experience
• Strong command of project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, Clarity)
• Risk management, dependency mapping, estimation models
• Industry domain depth in at least one: Higher Education, Public Sector, Nonprofit, Professional Services

Good to Have

• PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe certification
• Unit4 partner certifications
• Exposure to integrations with Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Azure Data Services
• Multi-geo delivery experience (UK, EU, North America, ANZ – Unit4’s stronghold regions)

Education

• Bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline
