Transport Administrator (Nights) Full Time

At GXO Swindon (SN5), we partner with Iceland Foods and are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our dynamic transport office. Our distribution centres operate in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, using advanced handling equipment and Class 1 and 2 vehicles to load, store, pick, and deliver products to stores across the UK.

You’ll be working on a full-time,permanent basis, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours of 19:00 – 07:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
• Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management
• Drivers brief and de-briefing as well as data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPI’S
• Respond to customer queries in timely and professional manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in transport environment essential
• Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster
• Working with Food Safety standard experience preferred but not essential
• IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
