• Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide advice on VAT matters, including planning and risk management.
• Assist with VAT audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
• Monitor changes in VAT legislation and update processes accordingly.
• Support the team in managing international VAT compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate VAT reporting.
• Identify opportunities for VAT efficiencies and cost savings.
• Maintain accurate VAT records and documentation for the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Accountant (VAT) should have:

• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tax software.
