The Child Wellbeing Clinic is a highly specialist child and adolescent mental health service, bringing together a multidisciplinary team of leading experts in the assessment and treatment of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.We provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care including neurodevelopmental assessments (Autism/ADHD), psychological and psychiatric assessments, evidence-based psychological therapies, and medication management. Our service works across a broad range of presenting difficulties, combining clinical excellence with a personalised, evidence-based approach.We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, supportive environment, delivering high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.Essential Requirements· HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist· Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent)· Significant experience working within specialist child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS)· Strong skills in assessment, formulation, and evidence-based intervention with children and young people· Flexibility to provide some after-school/evening/weekend appointmentsDesirable Skills and Experience· Additional specialist training (e.g. BABCP accreditation, ADOS-2, etc.)· Ability to offer face-to-face appointments in central LondonClinical Work and OpportunitiesThe role offers opportunities to undertake a wide range of clinical work, including multidisciplinary assessments, neurodevelopmental assessments (Autism/ADHD), psychological assessments and cognitive assessments.In addition to general child and adolescent mental health work, clinicians will have the opportunity to contribute to several specialist pathways within the service. These include work with young people who are adopted or fostered, those presenting with complex anxiety disorders and OCD that have not responded to previous interventions, functional or medically unexplained symptoms, tics and Tourette’s, eating disorders, mental health difficulties in the context of neurodiversity, and young children with significant behavioural problems.These pathways provide valuable opportunities for developing specialist expertise alongside delivering high-quality general clinical work.What We Offer· Competitive sessional rates: up to £120 per therapy session, £200–£400 per initial assessment· Full administrative support, including scheduling and client coordination· Access to a highly experienced multidisciplinary team, including nationally and internationally recognised experts in child and adolescent mental health· Monthly MDT meetings and opportunities for peer discussion and learning· Flexibility to offer both face-to-face and remote (online) workThis role is ideally suited to clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised care and who value working within a supportive, specialist team environment.If you are potentially interested in this role, please your CV to info@cwclinic.com.
