Term: Permanent and Full Time
Working pattern: Onsite. Regular travel is required, with occasional overnight stays.
Location: Site based role across multiple UK locations
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum plus a company vehicle

Role Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure projects across the UK. This role involves overseeing both on-site installation works and coordinating off-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with industry standards.
You will play a key role in managing installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers involved in EV charge point installations, electrical works, and associated civil engineering activities.
Please note: Regular travel is required, with occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise day-to-day on-site EV installation activities (charge points, cabling, civil works)
- Coordinate off-site project elements including prefabrication, logistics, and supplier timelines
- Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety regulations, including CDM Regulations 2015
- Oversee site set-up, inductions, and safe systems of work (RAMS)
- Monitor project progress against programme and report updates to the Project Manager
- Liaise with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), local authorities, and clients
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks
- Manage subcontractors including electricians, groundworkers, and civil teams
- Ensure installations meet industry standards (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671)
- Identify and resolve technical or operational issues promptly
- Maintain accurate site documentation including progress reports, permits, and handover packs
- Support commissioning and handover of EV charging infrastructure
Required Experience and qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager / Supervisor in construction, electrical, or infrastructure projects
- Experience in EV charging, utilities, or renewable energy projects (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and civil works
- Valid CSCS card
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- Knowledge of BS 7671
- Understanding of CDM Regulations
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience working with EV charge point installations (AC/DC systems)
