Shape the efficiency of a high-performing service operation as a Service Desk Coordinator. This isn’t just a “ticket-logger” role; you will be the operational heartbeat of the team, bridging the gap between technical triage, procurement, and client delivery within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Act as the central command for daily service desk operations, managing workload coordination for Service Desk Analysts and Field Engineers.
- Monitor shared mailboxes and ticket queues to ensure rapid logging, triage, and assignment based on priority and skillset.
- Manage the full lifecycle of remedial work, including preparing accurate quotes, job costing, and procurement of necessary components.
- Drive SLA compliance by tracking ticket progress and proactively chasing updates from internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support team growth by managing onboarding logistics, including account creation, equipment setup, and access requests.
What You’ll Need
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a Service Desk, Helpdesk, or Operations Coordinator role, ideally within HVAC, FM, Construction, or Fire and Security sectors.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using CRM or Service Management software for quoting and ticket tracking.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in job costing, procurement, and managing external suppliers for remedial services.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to negotiate with stakeholders while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask under pressure and meet strict service delivery deadlines.
