Payments Officer Full Time

About The Role

We have a new opportunity for a Payments Officer to join our Finance Team in Oldham on a full‑time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will work Monday to Wednesday in the office, with the remainder of the week from home.

Reporting to the Payments Manager, you will ensure internal and external queries are resolved promptly. You will support key finance functions including transaction processing, payment runs and the management of payable ledgers.

• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel as this tool is used frequently in this role.

Essential Qualifications

• Level 2 (GCSE C+ or equivalent) Maths and English.
