Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver prompt service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
• Manage cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and handle transactions accurately.
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and promote special offers or events.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to ensure compliance at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar service.
• Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers.
• Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders during busy periods effectively.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during shifts.
• Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
