Position Overview
Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer leads the team of instrumentation & control engineers and designers and independently define, plan and manage the issuance of instrumentation & control deliverables and execute the project instrumentation & control engineering activities in accordance with project specifications, schedule, cost and quality, mainly for Topside facilities in FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities.
Lead Instrument Engineer develops corporate technical standards/procedures, workflow, engineering platform (e.g. Instrument design data integration) and keep them updated, integral, practical and fit to purpose with incorporating Project Lesson Learns.
Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer assists Head of Discipline for managing a corporate organization and mentors Instrument Engineers in the Discipline.
Lead Instrument Engineer conducts technical validation and quality assurance (input/output data accuracy, technical appropriateness, consistency, practicality, code, optimum solution and regulatory compliance) in executing Feasibility /Conceptual Study/Pre-FEED/FEED, EPCI Engineering for FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities projects.
This role may require frequent travel to the US, Europe, and Asia.
The strategic focus will also include providing support to Hanwha Ocean engineering teams based in USA/Netherland/Singapore/India and elsewhere as necessary including Conceptual, pre-FEED and FEED for projects in the offshore area in the future.
