In this role, you will support our young people and be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time with them. It offers a homely environment and dedicated staff team that provides a caring nurturing environment which enables the young people to enjoy and achieve.Due to the location of this role, you must have access to your own transport with a full UK driving licence. As long as you can demonstrate the values needed for a role within residential childcare, we will give you all the training and support you need to progress!A Level 3 Or 4 Qualification In Children’s Residential And Childcare Is Essential, As Well As Previous Experience Within a Residential Childcare Setting Along With The Following CharacteristicsResilience We support some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.Organisation As well as supervising the staff team, you’ll need to be confident and organised in updating care plans and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.Caring Our young people require the best care we can offer.
