We’re Hiring: Senior Python Backend Engineer | Remote (Europe)

Hiring on behalf of one of our clients

We are currently supporting one of our fast-growing tech clients in hiring a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join a fast-moving team building a production-grade AI-native platform focused on scalable backend systems and AI-powered service delivery.

Location: Remote – Europe (CET time zone alignment required)

Budget: €220–€280/day (B2B) — approx. €73,920/year gross

Working Hours: 10am – 6pm CET (US overlap 2–6pm CET preferred)

Start Date: ASAP (within 1 month preferred)

Team Events: 4x per year in London or Prague

Tech Stack

Python 3, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Azure, Docker

Requirements

5+ years Python development experience

3+ years FastAPI experience

Strong backend architecture & distributed systems knowledge

Experience with Celery task queues

Strong understanding of async/await, Pydantic & REST APIs

PostgreSQL / SQL expertise

Experience using AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, or similar)

Fluent English (B2+)

Must be able to pass HackerRank technical assessment

Important Note:

This role is focused on backend Python engineering (not ML/Data Science-heavy roles).
