The role will focus on ensuring the delivery of high quality development and regeneration schemes with particular responsibility for: Managing the day-to-day relationship with the GLA – our key funder. This is mission critical! The GLA fund LB Sutton to the tune of over £100m, and making sure this is spent on time, managing audits so we continue to achieve ‘green’ and the quarterly liaison meetings is essential. You will manage the OPS system and help coordinate bids, projects and programmes, Acting as the lead statutory consultee for the LPA to comment on planning applications from a housing development perspective and ensuring that s106 and nominations commitments are met, secured and monitored effectively, Leading on the day-to-day management of the enabling function, which means effectively supporting our registered provider partners who are seeking to develop affordable housing in the borough.
