Production Accountant/Line Producer Full Time NEW

We are searching for a Production Accountant/Line Producer to join our finance team! The Production Accountant / Line Producer plays a key role within OS Studios, supporting the financial management and execution of live and digital production projects across Europe. This role sits at the intersection of production and finance, ensuring budgets are tracked accurately, vendors are managed efficiently, and projects are reconciled in a timely and organized manner.

Working closely with producers, project managers, and the broader finance team, this position helps maintain financial discipline across projects while enabling teams to deliver high-quality client experiences. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-country production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Finance Management

• Support day-to-day financial operations across multiple projects, including budget tracking, accounts payable, and expense coding
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across all stages of production
• Assist in monitoring project budgets against actuals, flagging risks or variances early

Production & Budget Support

• Partner with producers and project teams to build and maintain working budgets throughout the project lifecycle
• Track purchase orders, vendor commitments, and actual spend in real time
• Ensure all costs are properly documented and aligned with approved budgets

Vendor & Payment Management

• Coordinate vendor onboarding in line with OS Studios processes and regional requirements
• Process and track vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely submission to AP
• Maintain clear communication with vendors across multiple countries and currencies

Client Financial Support

• Assist in preparing client-facing financial updates, reconciliations, and cost trackers
• Support billing processes, including backup documentation and reconciliation of billable costs
• Help address client questions related to project financials as needed

Post-Event Reconciliation

• Support full project reconciliation within defined timelines (typically 30–45 days post-event)
• Track all invoices, expenses, and accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Assist in resolving discrepancies and closing out projects cleanly

Operational Coordination

• Work cross-functionally with production, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth workflows
• Help identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across projects

Regional & Compliance Responsibilities (Europe)

• Support compliance with local VAT requirements, including proper coding, documentation, and coordination with finance/tax teams
• Manage multi-currency transactions and track foreign exchange impacts across project budgets
• Coordinate with vendors and partners across the UK, Netherlands, and broader EU, ensuring alignment with local invoicing standards
• Assist with audit requests and documentation as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in production accounting, event finance, or line producing (live events, broadcast, or agency environment preferred)
• Strong understanding of budgeting and cost tracking within a production environment
• Familiarity with VAT processes and multi-currency project management within Europe
• Experience working with international vendors and cross-border payments
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
