If so, we want to hear from you.Role Description: Cosmetic Inspection TechnicianAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Technician in our Cosmetic Inspection department to join our growing team, playing a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards for intraocular lenses that help restore vision worldwide.This role is ideally suited to individuals who are meticulous, quality-driven, and thrive in environments requiring precision and concentration. You will be working in a clean, controlled manufacturing environment, using microscopes and specialised equipment to inspect delicate Intraocular Lenses.Whether you already have experience in a laboratory, cleanroom, or inspection-based role, or you are looking to transition into this type of environment, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills.You will be based at our state-of-the-art HQ in Worthing, West Sussex.Full-time, permanent role12-hour shifts, 7pm – 7am, 4 on / 4 off rotationSalary: £31,782 (including £6000 shift allowance)Key Responsibilities:Examine intraocular lenses under a microscope, identifying and removing any defective unitsUse tweezers to carefully load the lenses into injectors while working under magnificationLoad injectors into trays, accurately fill with saline, and seal for further processingMaintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure only products meeting strict quality standards progressFollow SOPs and work within a regulated manufacturing environmentAccurately complete batch documentation and data entryWork within a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocolsContribute to a culture of quality, precision, and continuous improvementSkills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a laboratory, cleanroom, inspection, or quality-focused environment (desirable but not essential)Exceptional attention to detail and ability to detect very small defectsExcellent manual dexterity and steady hand coordinationAbility to remain focused on repetitive, high-precision tasksComfortable working with microscopes or willing to be trainedAbility to follow detailed written instructions and proceduresBasic computer skills for accurate data entryWorking Environment & PPE RequirementsThis role is based in a controlled cleanroom environment.
