Pre-school Leader Full Time

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Medbourne for a Pre-school Leader. The Pre-school Leader will oversee daily operations, ensure the safety and well-being of children, and implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Key responsibilities include managing staff, fostering positive relationships with families, complying with early years regulations, and maintaining a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The role also involves administrative tasks, such as budgeting and maintaining records, as well as planning activities aligned with early childhood education best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in creating and implementing age-appropriate early years curricula and activities
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and supporting staff
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and compliance with early years statutory frameworks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and staff
• Experience in administrative tasks such as budgeting, record-keeping, and maintaining compliance documentation
• A recognized qualification in early years education or childcare, such as Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Passion for fostering the growth and development of young children in a safe and nurturing environment
• First Aid and safeguarding training certifications are an advantage
