DescriptionAs a Senior Analyst in the Portfolio Management team you will help design, implement, present and then monitor investment solutions, to a range of asset owner clients including Wealth management clients and pension schemes.This role will build experience of working with clients to design and implement solutions to meet their specific goals in the most efficient manner. You will sit at the core of our portfolio management team, that is responsible for managing a wide range of multi-asset and specialist portfolios using multi-manager implementation and is currently responsible for managing more than $180bn globally.Our client base is seeking creative solutions to the investment challenges they face. As a result, we look to bring people with a variety of backgrounds and skills to work collaboratively on cutting edge assignmentsThe role provides the opportunity to build your knowledge by working with a wide range of our internal teams, in particular our research and client teams, and the broader network of specialists within WTW’s investment business. With this role, you will be supported to develop your investment specific knowledge and skills, as well as a broad range of consulting, communication and commercial skills.The RoleAs a Senior Analyst in the multi-asset portfolio management team, your responsibilities will be as follows:Clients and ExcellenceWork closely with Portfolio Management, Asset Research and Manager Research Teams to input into the development of proposals for client portfolio changesDemonstrate knowledge of the UK Wealth markets and the needs and demands of firms to differentiate their solutionsHave a proactive approach and take ownership of work to ensure tasks are actioned quickly and efficientlyAssist in communicating any portfolio changes/positioning internally and to clients and intermediariesDiligent application of WTW’s portfolio management processes and pro-actively suggest evolution and changesDemonstrate sound analytical skills in forming views and opinionsTake ownership for a wide range of actions across a portfolio of clientsLearn and effectively use in-house trading systems and processes to execute portfolio management decisionsCoordinate with legal and Implementation teams to ensure correct execution of portfolio management decisionsPeopleSupport a collaborative and inclusive working environmentBuild strong relationships across your working network and collaborate with other related internal teams including research, client management, operations and complianceActively participate in the knowledge and skills development of othersFinancialContribute to development of scalable processes to deliver value add portfolio management efficiently to multiple clients and solutionsContribute to meeting project deliverables through effective resource utilizationExcellenceLearn to understand and implement our ‘Excellence’ principles and risk management techniquesEngage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical investment knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments.QualificationsWhat you’ll bringMulti-asset investing and asset allocation expertiseStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsPortfolio construction and risk management knowledgeUnderstanding of UK wealth management marketFinancial modeling and data analysis (Excel; Python is a plus)Ability to generate clear investment views and recommendationsEffective communication with clients and internal stakeholdersCross-functional collaboration (research, operations, compliance)Strong execution and attention to detail in portfolio decisionsTime management and ability to handle multiple portfoliosProactive mindset with ownership and accountabilityContinuous learning and awareness of market trendsWhat We OfferEnjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive, both professionally and personally.
