Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacy Operations Manager located in Peterborough. The role involves overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, managing pharmaceutical inventory, and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include liaising with clinical teams to support patient care, developing and implementing operational policies, and training staff to enhance pharmacy efficiency and service quality. The Pharmacy Operations Manager will also evaluate and optimize workflow processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations and healthcare regulations
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams
- Proficient in inventory management and compliance monitoring
- Ability to analyze and interpret data for developing operational strategies
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or equivalent), with a valid registration as a practicing pharmacist
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within a pharmacy setting is highly desirable
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care
