Order Picker Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing goods for dispatch, ensuring efficiency. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and familiarity with stockroom systems. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in materials handling and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick orders according to customer specifications .
• Handle materials with care, ensuring accuracy in selection.
• Stock shelves and organise products to optimise space utilisation and accessibility
• Conduct quality control checks to verify product accuracy and condition before dispatch
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory updates
• Help with unloading delivery vans and putting components away correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
• Support stock rotation procedures to minimise waste and maximise product freshness or integrity

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stockroom environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge or experience with stock rotation systems is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure order accuracy
• Good physical fitness, capable of standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.This role offers a dynamic working environment where safety, efficiency, and accuracy are paramount. Pay: £12.75-£13.75 per hour
