Our European Healthcare team is a core strategic focus of the firm and continues to experience strong deal flow driven by sector tailwinds and long-term client relationships.We are now looking to expand the London team with an outstanding Analyst or Associate who is highly motivated, analytical, and eager to build deep sector expertise in healthcare.Why Jefferies?Market-leading healthcare franchise with exposure across M&A, ECM, and leveraged financeEarly responsibility and real client exposure from day oneLean deal teams that allow juniors to have a tangible impact on transactionsA collegiate, entrepreneurial culture where performance is recognised and rewardedStrong commitment to internal development, mentorship, and long‑term career progressionRole OverviewYou will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions and pitches, supporting strategic advisory and capital markets execution for healthcare clients across Europe and globally.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial modelling and valuation (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, LBO analysis)Preparing pitch materials, client presentations, and transaction documentationSupporting execution of M&A, equity, and financing transactionsConducting in‑depth sector and company analysis within healthcare subsectorsCoordinating due diligence processes and interacting with internal and external stakeholdersMonitoring market trends and proactively contributing ideas to senior team membersCandidate ProfileAnalyst level1–3 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related roleStrong financial modelling and analytical skillsDemonstrated interest in healthcare and life sciencesExcellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreamsAssociate level3–6+ years’ experience, ideally with prior investment banking trainingProven execution experience on M&A and/or capital markets transactionsAbility to independently drive workstreams and mentor junior team membersStrong commercial judgment and client-facing capabilitySkills & AttributesOutstanding academic backgroundStrong work ethic and resilience in a fast-paced environmentClear, confident communicator with strong written skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approachIntellectual curiosity and genuine interest in the healthcare sector
