About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Office Manager/ Administrator to join our growing construction business. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the Managing Director while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our head office and project administration.
You’ll play a key part in keeping operations efficient, projects compliant, and communication flowing across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Front Desk Management
· Greet visitors and manage incoming calls and enquiries
· Oversee office facilities, supplies, and IT coordination
· Manage meetings, hospitality, and deliveries
· Maintain a professional and organised office area
Operations Management
· Oversee the daily operations & register from the contracts manager to ensure optimum working conditions for the workforce.
· Manage supplier relationships and process purchase orders and invoices accurately
· Maintain health & safety records, ensuring risk assessments, method statements, and insurance documents remain up to date
· Coordinate the renewal of key industry accreditations and compliance certifications
Executive Support
· Manage the Managing Director’s diary, inbox, and meeting schedule
· Act as a professional first point of contact for clients and contractors
· Prepare meeting minutes and track actions
· Coordinate travel and site visit arrangements
Project & Compliance Support
· Maintain project documents using digital systems
· Support tender submissions and pre-construction documentation
· Track site staff certifications and training
· Assist with handover documents including O&M manuals
Finance & HR Administration
· Process purchase orders and invoices
· Credit control and expense management
· Coordinate onboarding of new office and site staff
· Data entry of subcontractor wages in to spreadsheets
· Assisting bookkeeper
What We’re Looking For
· Experience in a senior administrative or executive support role
· Construction experience desirable
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Confident communicator with a professional manner
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
· Proactive, discreet, and able to manage multiple priorities

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
