Job OverviewUniversity Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to work with us.Please see below for detailed job description of the role.Main duties of the jobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a nurse to join the well established Epilepsy service as a band 6 nurse specialist. The post is one year, fixed-term to cover Maternity leave.This is an opportunity for a nurse with a good knowledge of epilepsy to join the Specialist Epilepsy Service working closely with the neurological consultants and multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be involved in the care of patients managed with medication and also those undergoing neurosurgical treatments.The post holder will be a key point of contact for patients with epilepsy requiring advice and support between appointments, providing clinical reviews both virtually and face to face in an Outpatient environment.
