Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Manchester area, United Kingdom, for an MSK/Sports Physiotherapist. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions. Daily responsibilities include creating tailored rehabilitation programs, using manual therapy techniques, providing patient education, and working collaboratively with other team members to deliver comprehensive care. The physiotherapist will play a vital role in managing patients’ recovery journeys and helping them achieve their goals.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Musculoskeletal (MSK) assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Proficiency in Sports Physiotherapy techniques and injury management
- Experience in creating and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs
- Knowledge and application of manual therapy techniques
- Effective communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain accurate documentation
- Registration with the appropriate governing body, such as the HCPC and CSP, is essential
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a clinical or sports environment is essential
- A commitment to continued professional development and staying updated with the latest evidence-based practice
- Pilates teaching experience is desirable
