You will serve as a Field Veterinary Officer, leading disease control, animal welfare, and trade facilitation efforts.
- Primarily office-based with administrative tasks on animal health and compliance
- Conduct farm visits and inspections
- Manage disease control programmes for various diseases
- Ensure animal welfare and traceability compliance through inspections
- Certify animals and products for export to support trade
- Provide expertise across species such as pigs, sheep, and aquatics
- Contribute to policy development on disease surveillance, welfare, antimicrobial resistance, and trade
Essential Requirements
- MRCVS qualification or eligibility
- At least 1 year (preferably 2) experience with farmed animals or public health
- Excellent communication skills
- Driving license
