The Torbay area, also known as the English Riviera, is a truly remarkable place. Those who live here know how naturally inspiring it is; those who visit get just a glimpse of why this UNESCO Global Geopark is one of Earth’s extraordinary destinations. Torbay is one of the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Heritage Places, a programme of sustained investment into the bay to assist in the promotion and protection of our local heritage and culture and its connection with residents and visitors to Torbay.
We’re looking for an experienced Local Heritage Grants Support Officer to coordinate the successful delivery of a second series of Torbay Local Heritage Grant Awards, the theme of which is ‘Artists, Writers & Musicians on the English Riviera’.

The post is part time (2.5 days per week) for 30 months and is fully funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund through the Torbay Heritage Place Programme.
This post requires a Standard Criminal Level Check. This will show details of all spent and unspent convictions and adult cautions that have not been filtered in line with legislation.
This position is for a fixed term of 30 months from the start date.
