This position can be located in either of our base offices in Eakring, Bristol, Taunton, Cardiff with an expectation to be on site for a few times a week and the rest from home.Please note this is not a learner role, this role is reviewing our apprentice’s progression whilst they are partaking in our apprenticeship schemes.As you will be working with employees aged between 16 and 18, we will require a DBS check to be undertaken by the successful applicant at the Enhanced level.What you’ll doDrive apprentice progress and achievement by proactively reviewing performance, identifying gaps and implementing targeted interventions to support timely completion of apprenticeship programmes. Build strong, trust-based relationships with apprentices through effective communication, coaching conversations and regular check-ins, influencing engagement and motivation without formal line management authority. Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders (trainers, line managers and support teams) to ensure a joined-up approach to apprentice development and swift resolution of any barriers to progress.Maintain accurate and compliant records through robust administrative practices, ensuring all learner activity, progress reviews and interventions are documented in line with organisational and funding requirements. What you’ll needProficiency in organisational skills with proven ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured environment.Self-motivated and resilient, with excellent risk assessment, recording and time-management skills.The Ability to set and Monitor SMART targets, with the confidence to challenge underperforming learners.Knowledge of adolescence and emotional / developmental needs of young people.Skills in empathy, understanding and listening. Ability to work as part of a team and to take a flexible, professional approach.Experience of working with students or young people.A knowledge of the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework is desirable.Experience of reviewing, mentoring or coaching learners is desirable, ideally coming from an existing teaching or training background.Experience designing and delivering presentations and training to learners. What you’ll getA competitive salary between £36,343.00 – £39,549.00 per annum– dependent on capability.As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
