The Role
The Junior Project Management Coordinator at Blue Oak is responsible for the logistics that allow our consultants to stay focused on solving commercial puzzles. In this position, you will manage the mechanics of our projects from start to finish. You will maintain our internal tracking systems to verify that every task is properly assigned and that our project timelines remain accurate. This is an administrative role that requires a logical mindset because you need to understand how the different parts of an advisory project fit together.
Your day will involve more than simple administrative tasks. You will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information between team members and making sure that our documentation is consistent across every workstream. You will look at our project schedules daily to identify where things might be slipping before a delay actually happens. This project support is essential for a remote firm like ours, as it ensures that everyone is working from the same set of facts and deadlines. This role is an entry level opportunity to see how high level business strategy is actually executed behind the scenes.
