We are seeking Junior Java Automation Test Engineer, Technical Consultants to join our team.
Automation Testing is at the core of defining, developing and testing products for businesses and their customers. Development is a playground where you can create what’s needed when you need it.
You will play a vital role working within a cross functional team, participating in the development of software with a primary focus being on the testability and performance of software applications.
You’ll be able to set up full frameworks to perform thousands of tests in a heartbeat on multiple application platforms such as mobile, desktop and web. This feeds into every level of test whether it’s unit level, functional, performance and regression.
We’re not expecting you to have the proficiencies right away – that’s where our award-winning Academy comes in. We are the experts in building skills and confidence in a fun and supportive environment that will not only challenge you but also develop your specialist capabilities ready to work on our clients’ projects.
You will embark on a transformative development journey that combines academic learning, coaching, mentorship, real-world client projects, and continuous growth opportunities across a variety of industries and sectors.
How It Works
Learn: Complete a period of full-time Academy training when you join Sparta Global. All training is delivered remotely by our team of industry-professional trainers and is paid from day one.
Work: At the successful completion of training, you will become a ‘Spartan’ consultant and be available for assignment to work with one of our clients as a Java Automation Engineer, Technical Consultant!
Grow: You’ll work with our client for up to 24 months, be able to access upskilling, salary increases and are then available to convert to a full-time employee with your assigned employer.

Person Specification
To be successful for this role you will demonstrate a level of ability in C#, Java or similar. You will be passionate about technology and eager to learn programme development to an advanced level.

Eligibility
As a Sparta Global Consultant, you will be deployed to work with one of our client partners at the completion of your training. For this reason, candidates must be open to relocation within the UK for client site deployments and remote work cannot be guaranteed.
Successful applicants must have the right to work in the UK from the start date of employment.
