Infrastructure Engineer – SC Cleared – Hybrid – £80,000 We’re seeking a versatile Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience across modern platforms, virtualisation, cloud services, and secure environments. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working hands-on with a broad technology stack, this role offers the opportunity to make real impact in a high-assurance setting.Strong background in:Windows Server (2016+) administrationRedHat OpenShiftLinux distributions (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)End-user device provisioning and hardening (eg, Autopilot)Single Sign-On concepts and operationsWorking within protectively marked or secure environmentsVMware technologiesMicrosoft AzureGeneral networking fundamentalsAutomation and Scripting (PowerShell, Ansible)Experience with any of the following is a major advantage:Kubernetes administration (eg, VMware TKGI)vSphere, vCenter, VCFAzure or Microsoft 365 administrationDevSecOps tooling and pipelinesNessus or similar security scanning toolsInfrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Vault)Agile sprint-based environmentsTypical Responsibilities:Maintain, enhance, and secure multi-classification virtualised environmentsSupport the development and adoption of Secure-by-Design infrastructure approachesAssist in the delivery and support of cloud SaaS platforms and project-specific cloud systemsExecute infrastructure maintenance through change control processesMonitor and manage alerting, ticketing, and incident response workflowsIdentify, diagnose, and act on system alerts and performance issuesEnsure all systems remain patched and compliant with security policyAssess incidents quickly, drive service restoration, and track follow-up actionsAnalyse trends to improve system reliability and performanceStay current with emerging cloud, virtualisation, and security technologiesProvide guidance and technical support to teams and stakeholdersDocument processes, share knowledge, and support business growth activitiesSecurity Clearance
