Indicative range: $55,000 – $85,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.Role OverviewWe are hiring a Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist to manage claims, denials, and payer relationships across the revenue cycle. The role combines coding fluency with payer expertise — making sure providers get paid accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities- Submit claims to payers and follow up through adjudication- Investigate and appeal denied claims with strong supporting documentation- Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and prior authorisation requirements- Maintain accurate billing data and reconcile payer remittance advice- Stay current on coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and payer policy changes- Partner with providers and clinical staff on documentation improvementsRequired Skills and Qualifications- 3+ years in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle operations- Strong working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding- Familiarity with EHR and practice management systems (Epic, Athena, Kareo, AdvancedMD)- Experience with payer portals and clearinghouse workflows- Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline- Coding certification (CPC, CCS, CRC) is a plusWhat You’ll Bring- Genuine commitment to patient outcomes and care quality- Clear written and verbal communication across clinical and non-clinical teams- Strong attention to compliance, documentation, and confidentiality- Comfort working asynchronously across time zonesWhat We Offer- Fully remote, flexible work hours- Performance-based bonus structure- Annual learning & development stipend- Health and wellness benefits (varies by location)- Opportunity to work on high-scale, real-world impact projectsEqual Opportunity StatementThis is an equal opportunity role.
