These hours will be worked – Monday Friday 09:00 17:00 (reduced working week to be incorporated)You will be based within Aranthrue Centre, 103 Paisley Road, Renfrew PA4 8LH.Home working is not available for this post.This post is fixed-term for 12 monthsKey ResponsibilitiesYou will provide high-quality, direct support to children and young people in line with agreed care plans, ensuring your approach is responsive to individual needs. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with internal and external services, including wider CAMHS teams and inpatient services where required. You will support the delivery of the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Clinic and contribute to assessment processes through activities such as school observations, play sessions, and gathering and collating information from parents/carers and education staff.You will adapt your approach to care delivery depending on individual needs and levels of supervision, demonstrating flexibility and initiative in a range of settings. You will be required to travel to various locations including schools, homes, and clinical environments as part of service delivery. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records using IT systems such as EMIS. You will participate in regular clinical supervision and engage in ongoing learning, development, and competency achievement, including Essential CAMHS competencies. You will work effectively in a busy environment, managing your assigned tasks independently where required.Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job: You should hold an SVQ Level 3 qualification or have equivalent experience within a health, mental health, or social care setting.
