Growing together.This role sits at the heart of a new international team responsible for building a high-performing global medical provider network across over 40 countries to initially deliver disability examinations for the US Veterans Benefits Association (VBA). The provider network could be further expanded for other clients, markets or pursuits, as required.You will be responsible for identifying, vetting, engaging and preparing providers (clinics, hospitals, physicians) for onboarding and operational readiness. This includes outreach, assessment of capabilities, collecting data for supplier vetting and shortlisting, early contracting coordination, and supporting the transition to credentialing and operational teams.Please note: This role is a 6 month fixed-term contract.This Role BlendsStrategic global sourcingProvider engagement & relationship managementOperational & data managementOnboarding & compliance supportCrossfunctional collaboration across legal, credentialing, operations, and global teamsWhat You’ll DoProvider Identification & Market MappingResearch and identify qualified clinics, hospitals, and physicians across target countriesBuild longlists and shortlists using predefined criteria (capacity, capability, geography, specialties)Maintain a dynamic global sourcing pipeline that scales with project needsOutreach & EngagementConduct professional outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, and regional channels and professional networks) to prospective providersIntroduce the program, assess initial interest, viability and manage follow up communicationsTrack all provider interactions and maintain accurate records of discussions, interest and outcomesBuild relationships with provider administrators, clinicians and key contactsProvider Capability & Capacity AssessmentGather structured capability data (e.g., facilities, access to required modalities, physician availability, compliance-readiness)Verify information, request missing data, and evaluate suitability using set criteriaProduce concise capability summaries for internal review and decision makingContracting & Commercial SupportCoordinate early contracting steps; sending agreements, tracking status, identifying blockers and prompting follow ups to progress contract negotiations and executionWork closely with legal and compliance teams on revisions, queries, and status updatesMaintain visibility of contract stage and escalate risks promptlyOnboarding and ReadinessEnsure all provider information is complete before transition to Credentialing teamsCollaborate with Credentialing, Compliance, and Data/IT teams to ensure seamless provider setupSupport early operational onboarding tasks (e.g., access requests, data templates, system readiness)Data & Record ManagementMaintain accurate databases, trackers, and documentation for all provider sourcing activitiesSupport reporting and dashboard updates, pipeline analysis and operational updatesEnsure data quality, maintain provider categorization, provider engagement, and capability dataCross Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Credentialing Specialists, Legal, Operations, Quality, and project stakeholdersEnsure alignment on pipeline capacity, country level priorities, risks, and timelinesContribute to continuous improvement of provider workflows, SOPs, and global network strategyYou will be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.What You Will BringDegree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Business, Global Health, Public Health, or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in a coordination, sourcing, recruitment, vendor engagement, or administrative support role, ideally within healthcare or a similarly regulated environmentDemonstrable solid organisational and data tracking capability, with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously and maintain accurate documentationProven ability to be a confident communicator across global audiences (email, phone, written)Proven skills at outreach, relationship building, and managing multiple stakeholdersDemonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and TeamsProven ability to work independently and as part of a small team, managing priorities in a fast paced environmentDemonstrated high attention to detail, with an ability to verify information, identify gaps, and maintain structured organisationProven ability to be comfortable working across time zones, with international providers from multiple countries and culturesOther Useful Skills And Experience IncludeProven experience in healthcare, international recruitment, or global provider network developmentProven exposure to credentialing, vetting, regulatory requirements or contractingDemonstrable prior experience engaging medical facilities or healthcare professionals, such as clinics, hospitals, or physician groupsDemonstrated knowledge of international healthcare markets, regulatory landscapes, provider onboarding or provider performance managementWhat We OfferOpportunities for professional developmentInclusive and supportive team cultureKey benefits: Private health insurance, wellness programs, matching pension contribution, lunch provided by the company, training opportunities, employee donations matching and othersAll telecommuters will be required to adhere to the UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
