Palm Outsourcing helps UK, US, and UAE businesses hire exceptional talent in Egypt. We’re now hiring our first UK-based sales hire – a Founding SDR who will work directly with the founders to grow Palm’s UK client base and build a consistent outbound pipeline.

This is an early, visible role in the company. You’ll be responsible for starting conversations with UK decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, and booking high-quality meetings that turn into long-term client relationships.

Role Description

We’re looking for a confident and commercially minded Founding SDR to drive new business conversations with UK companies.

The role is focused and execution-driven: daily outbound calling, structured discovery conversations, and booking well-qualified meetings with founders, managing directors, and senior leaders.

As Palm’s first UK-based sales hire, you’ll work closely with the founder to refine outreach messaging, improve outbound workflows, and help establish a repeatable pipeline generation process.

This is a stable, long-term role with clear expectations, strong support, and room to grow as Palm scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Outbound Prospecting – Execute daily outbound call blocks targeting UK companies that could benefit from Palm’s hiring model.
• Discovery & Qualification – Hold structured hiring conversations to assess company needs, team structure, and suitability before booking meetings.
• Meeting Booking – Book well-qualified meetings directly into the founder’s calendar with clear context and briefing.
• Objection Handling – Confidently address common questions and objections related to hiring, outsourcing, and remote teams.
• Outbound Support – Use LinkedIn and email to support prospecting activity and follow-up outreach.
• Pipeline Discipline – Maintain accurate CRM records, notes, outcomes, and next steps across all outreach activity.
• Process Improvement – Work with the founder to refine call scripts, messaging, targeting, and outbound workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

• Business Development Experience – 1–3 years in business development, SDR, or a UK recruitment agency environment.
• Cold Calling Confidence – Comfortable executing high-volume outbound call blocks and qualifying prospects live.
• Recruitment Understanding – Strong grasp of hiring conversations and recruitment dynamics.
• Communication Skills – Excellent spoken and written English. Confident speaking with founders, managing directors, and senior decision-makers.
• CRM Discipline – Highly organised with strong attention to detail and consistent pipeline hygiene.
• Ownership & Consistency – Able to maintain daily activity and performance standards without supervision.
• Tool Proficiency – Comfortable using dialers, CRMs, and outbound prospecting tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• AI Adoption – Uses AI tools for call review, research, messaging refinement, and productivity.
• Recruitment Industry Knowledge – Experience selling to or working within recruitment agencies or HR services.
