Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Estimator role based in Dartford. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing technical specifications, and providing accurate pricing proposals. Collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to determine costs and timelines is a key aspect of the role. The successful candidate will also ensure adherence to deadlines, prioritize tasks, and support contract negotiations through detailed reports.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cost estimation, budget management, and project financial planning
• Knowledge of glazing systems, architectural designs, and technical specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review project requirements in detail
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in estimation and project management software tools
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with a diverse team to meet project deadlines
• A proactive approach, with strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations in the construction industry
• Candidate should ideally have prior experience in the glazing or construction sector
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous
