Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Shift Engineer based in Thetford. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems to ensure seamless operation within the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment faults, carrying out scheduled maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating with other engineering and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. The Electrical Shift Engineer will also play a key role in implementing and maintaining preventive maintenance practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, fault finding, and repair
- Experience with preventative maintenance and electrical systems maintenance
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and automated systems
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
