In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards. You will play a key role in supporting patient care, working closely with healthcare professionals, and providing expert advice on medicines.Main dutiesResponsible Pharmacist on Rota for the registered premises.Accuracy and clinical checking of prescriptions for wide specialist areas of interest including oncology, immunotherapy, rare disease states.Coordinating and planning the dispensary activity and supporting the wider teamProcurement and management of supplies of compounded and specialist medications with support.Supporting the patient services team in giving advice to patients triaging clinical decisions and following clinical pathways with further support from a wider team of pharmacist and nurse specialists.Key stakeholder in allowing patients access to novel treatments via clinical trials, Early access schemes, Post trial access schemes etc.Full job description can be found here: Dispensary Pharmacist JD.pdfWe want everyone to have an equal opportunity to apply for this role.
