Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Digital Skills Trainer to deliver high-quality digital
skills training within the community. This role involves supporting adult learners through
one-to-one sessions and small group workshops, helping them build confidence and
independence in essential digital tasks.
In-person Monday – Friday
Full-time / Part-time (Fixed Term)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per year

Essential Requirements:
• Hold an appropriate IT/Digital qualification
• Level 3 AET/PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification or equivalent
• Proven knowledge of Digital/IT subject area
• Minimum 1 year experience training or teaching in adult education
• Experience in supporting adult learners with Special Educational Needs
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners who may lack confidence or be disengaged from learning
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
• Commitment to continuous improvement and CPD
• Proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to use initiative
• Ability to deliver person-centred support tailored to learner needs
• Understanding of the needs and challenges of adult learners
• Strong commitment to Inclusion and Wellbeing
• Commitment to Safeguarding and awareness of the Prevent Strategy
