Be Scene: Director’s Cut is a growing, highly ambitious, autonomous creative media company building new kind of edutainment platform at the intersection of cinematic storytelling, directing craft, masterclasses and long-form conversations with leading creatives across Film, TV, and Theatre. A unique platform where a working actress learns from the world’s best directors, coaches, and industry professionals, and shares everything she discovers in real time.

The Role
Seeking a hands-on individual for this content-led growth role. Someone who understands how audiences are built and how content ecosystems scale. You’ll be responsible for growing our reach and audience across social media, email, website, and marketing campaigns to convert that audience into paying members of our Patreon community and other products as the business scales.
You’ll work directly with the Founder, who creates the core content and leads the creative vision. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can think strategically while also executing.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in a content-driven marketing role
- Proficiency in editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Cap Cut or similar)
- Graphic Design Skills (Adobe, Canva, Photoshop)
- Strong copywriting ability with attention to tone and detail
- Experience managing social media accounts
- Clear evidence and proven experience growing audiences, communities, or creator platforms
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, and platform-native content
- Experience editing short-form and long-form content
- Experience building content systems that support growth
- Experience creating audience funnels and conversion journeys
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts
- Comfort working independently in an early-stage environment
- Understand how top-of-funnel content connects to measurable business outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team
- Passion for creating high quality content and high attention to detail
- Ability to respond positively to feedback

Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Edit and repurpose long-form content into engaging social-first content
- Develop and execute platform-specific growth strategies for Instagram and Facebook – bonus if you are a native with Youtube Shorts and Tiktok
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and calls to action
- Manage content calendars and publishing schedules
- Identify trends, content opportunities, and audience behaviors
- Build repeatable content frameworks that increase reach and engagement
- Help shape content formats that improve discoverability and retention
Social Media & Community Growth
- Own day to day management of social channels
- Create and oversee content calendars and publishing workflows
- Build meaningful audience touchpoints and community interaction systems
Audience Conversion
- Build and improve content pathways that move audiences from discovery to deeper engagement
- Build and optimise content funnels that drive traffic to landing pages and membership platforms
- Build and execute email campaigns
- Support audience nurture systems and conversion funnels
- Support email nurture flows and conversion pathways
Analytics & Performance
- Track growth and engagement across platforms to analyze performance data and identify opportunities
- Test, learn, and improve strategies based on results
- Use insights and data to refine strategy and improve results
