Construction Labourer Full Time

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various aspects of construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of diverse building tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and possess a strong work ethic. Prior experience in construction or related trades is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction industry.

Duties

• Assist with the preparation and organisation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
• Support skilled tradespeople such as roofers, plumbers, welders, electricians, masons, and carpenters in their tasks
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
• Help with the installation of roofing, plumbing systems, electrical wiring, plastering, masonry work, and carpentry tasks
• Conduct site clean-up activities to maintain a safe and tidy working environment
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of construction components according to schematics and technical drawings
• Support in applying construction painting where required
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times during site activities

Experience

• Previous experience in construction or related trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, masonry or carpentry is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments
• Knowledge of schematics or technical drawings is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various construction tasks
