Role Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, tooling, and materials handling, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a CNC miller – programming, setting, and operating
• Proficient in Fanuc controls
• Experience with (or willingness to learn) OneCNC CAD/CAM
• Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Competence in using hand tools and basic tooling knowledge is essential

Duties

• Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and other machining processes using CAD software.
• Operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Conduct materials handling and manage tooling efficiently to maintain workflow.
• Troubleshoot issues with programmable logic controllers and machinery during production runs.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
